  • Been a while...

    Two years later!!

Yeah. I almost forgot about xanga. Well, it seems like I did. Time flies!

I am sitting in the gorgeous home of parental units where I have been occupying a bedroom for a few months. I moved to Buckhead, a sprawling young vibrant area in Atlanta, last summer. I love Buckhead but I found my self at odds with many things. I decided to sub-lease my apartment and move back to the parental units for a bit to re-prioritize and focus directly on a few things that needed attention in my life. As God would have it, I haven't found a reason to move back to the city. He has my heart set on much bigger things. I really believe He's been preparing me for something ridiculous. (I use this term in the "phat" sense.)

I'm a part of a Non-Profit called LUO (www.LUO-setfree.org) and we have been diligently praying and God has been consistently answering. A few of us headed to Jeffrey's Bay, South Africa last month (not I) and used American money to fully fund an orphanage for this entire year. We provided them with a full-time teacher, educational material, Biblical material, better nutritional food, beds, ect...God is good!!! LUO aims to "Set Children Free from Poverty." We have been selling t-shirts and spreading the news to raise support for this ministry.

We have been heard and God has blessed us RIDICULOUSLY (yes, there it is again) in just the short 8 months we've been around.

Orphanage #1- Jeffrey's Bay, South Africa = Fully funded!! (150 kids)

    Orphanage #2- on our way!

Our endeavor now is to find another orphanage. With continued funding at the first, we desire to add a new orhpanage every year. We are praying for God to lead us into the country He wants His WORD to be heard.

If you would like to get involved, we are selling T-Shirts on the website and you can also donate. (It is a write-off, we are a 501c3.)

Let's watch and see what the Lord does next. :)

    Good to be back.

  • He is good, all the time

    God is good.

I will praise him from my inmost being.

The most remarkable events in life sometimes are those that are surprising, unexpected, and yet somehow expected all along.

My friend that I've been praying for came back around and better than ever. The Lord really is working in his heart and it's so encouraging! Beyond that, it gives proof that the Lord IS FAITHFUL to His word. What evidence but that in my own life.

I hope that you are experiencing God's faithfulness in your own life. :)
